BALI SWIMMING POOL FENCE RENTALS

pool-fences.jpg

It seems that safety is optional for kids in Bali, at least when it comes to things like Child Car Seats and Baby Capsules, kids motorbike helmets and even swimming pool fences.

Unlike Australia there are no mandatory requirements in Bali (or indeed anywhere in Indonesia) for swimming pool safety fences. There are no fences around swimming pools at resorts, hotels, guesthouses, B&B’s and there’s a good chance (+99.9%) that any villa you rent will not have a swimming pool safety fence around the pool, but there is an answer.

“Swimming Pools continue to account for the largest proportion (around 60%) of all drowning deaths in children aged 0-4 years.”

There are now several outlets in Bali that hire temporary swimming pool safety fencing that is installed the day of your arrival and is taken away when you leave. An average sized pool is going to set you back around $150-$200 per week (this includes delivery and installation) and its certainly is an inexpensive way to buy peace of mind while on holidays knowing that the only way your kids can get into the pool is if you let them in there.

Here are a couple of links to companies that hire pool safety fences in Bali we suggest that you get the pool dimensions from the villa owner/manager and contact them all for a quote.
